Erasmus+ project „Inclusive and green school with an international approach“

We strive to find creative and innovative ways to foster leadership of our school community members and create a  sustainable impact. The main activities implemented during the project are:

1) cooperation with a school in Norway – a one-week mobility for students and teachers for educational purposes;

2) raising the qualifications of school employees in areas related to the innovative methods in physical education and improvement of international cooperation activities.

STEAM projects at school

STEAM Education is an approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking.

STEAM education at our school is based on two main principles:

1) activities are integrated into the lessons of various subjects, correspond to the educational content and are based on the cooperation of students and teachers;

2) the principles of scientific inquiry are applied, consciously paying attention to which level of learning through inquiry should be used for each grade of students.

Other national and international projects

Members of the school community are actively involved in various national and international projects, with an aim not only to promote the name of the „Pažinimo medis” school, but also to foster a culture of lifelong learning.

At the national level, we cooperate with colleges, universities, research centres, cultural, educational and state institutions.

We are also actively involved in various international projects, expanding the school’s network of partners outside Lithuania. The priority is given to the international projects that are related to STEAM and inclusive education.
